What we don't do

The list below specifies what we do not do. You will need to use other solutions for these features, or drop Tuotr completely if these must absolutely be available in one solution

• Video conferencing - you will need to use external solutions like Google Meet, Zoom, Teams and so on. You can add the meeting links to your messages, rooms and more, but integrated video conferencing is not part of Tuotr. The available solutions are far better than anything we can build.

• Like WhatsApp, Telegram and similar solutions, all logins are via phone numbers. We do not support anonymous users.

• No data encryption is used - either to store, transmit or process any data. No end-to-end encryption is used. Tuotr is not meant for secure communication.

• We will report criminal, illegal activities or pornography to the police/relevant authorities. Data will be scanned by automated tools, reviewed by a human, and reported. We have zero tolerance for these things. No advance notice, or request for information/explanation will be offered to the user or room administrator. Remember all user login is via a mobile number.

  • However, we do not track location data, other application data, or any information beyond what is strictly needed.

  • We do not sell or use your information for marketing, spamming or offering other services. We only make money from what you pay us to use Tuotr. More reasons why Tuotr is not free.
